Valenciaport's full import containers reached 559,825 TEUs (+11.14%) during the first half of 2026, while full export containers totaled 451,669 TEUs, down 0.84%.
In terms of weight, the Valencia Port Authority (APV) handled 39,917,708 tonnes of goods during the first six months of 2026, 3.12 per cent less than in the same period of the previous financial year. Monthly traffic in June stood at 7,021,994 tonnes, representing a year-on-year decrease of 0.62 per cent.
Cargo handling, including both loading and unloading, continues to show positive performance overall, reaching 24,989,644 tonnes, an increase of 1.63%. Specifically, unloaded cargo rose by 6.43% to 12,763,943 tonnes, while loaded cargo declined by 2.94%, totaling 12,225,701 tonnes.
Rail freight traffic increased by 19.51% in tonnage, while automobile traffic grew by 9.33% to 276,930 units
