According to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics, total June freight between the U.S. and the other North American countries (Canada and Mexico) moved by all modes of transportation was valued at $157.1 billion, increasing 19.9% compared to June 2025.
Freight between the U.S. and Canada, at $67.9 billion, was up 17.0% from June 2025. Freight between the U.S. and Mexico, at $89.2 billion, was up 22.2% from June 2025
Trucks moved $104.4 billion of freight, up 23.0% compared to June 2025. Railways moved $17.1 billion of freight, up 11.0% compared to June 2025. Pipelines moved $11.0 billion of freight, up 38.9% compared to June 2025.
Vessels moved $10.4 billion of freight, up 4.0% compared to June 2025. Air moved $6.2 billion of freight, up 24.2% compared to June 2025
