Valenciaport's traffic was down to 459,517 TEUs in July, compared to 509,685 TEUs in July 2025, a decrease of 9.84%.

As in recent months, import trade increased more than Spanish export activity. Between January and July, exports registered a cumulative decline of 1.34%, while imports increased by 10.33%.

In the first seven months of this year, the volume of containers handled at Valenciaport's terminals fell to 3,279,119 units (-1.34%). Year-on-year (the last twelve months), the total volume of traffic handled remains above 5.6 million containers; specifically, 5,618,144, a figure that shows growth of 0.16%.

China remains Valenciaport's largest international market, both in terms of containers and tonnage. Between January and July, 546,966 TEUs related to the Asian country were handled, representing an 18.39% increase compared to the same period in 2025. In terms of weight, the trade reached 5,941,770 tons, with a growth of 19.49%.

In terms of container volume, after China are the United States, with 193,179 TEUs (-16.22%); Algeria, with 177,776 (-5.27%); and Turkey, with 112,110 (-23.98%). Italy reached 61,149 TEUs (-19.73%). Among the markets showing positive growth are Brazil, with 83,124 TEUs (+16.49%); Morocco, with 76,118 (+9.18%); and Egypt, with 73,226 (+11.15%).

If measured by the weight of the goods, Italy remains the second largest international market, with 3.66 million tons (-13.20%), ahead of the United States, with 3.35 million (-7.09%). Algeria adds 2.43 million tons (-15.77%), and Turkey approaches two million (-24.94%). Conversely, trade with Morocco and Egypt increased by 14.17% and 12.67%, respectively.
